Assistive & Learning Technology 

We have extensive experience in all areas of Augmentative and Alternative Communication including high tech speech generating devices, software and access methods e.g switch selection and eye gaze, and are able to develop these to meet each individual's needs.  These are now much more than purely for communication and can be used as environmental controls and for games, social media, telephone calls and texts, e-mailing, word processing plus many more functions.  Our knowledge in these areas means we are able to provide advice and training in rounded solutions to support people with disabilities (including visual impairment, acquired and traumatic brain injury and communication difficulties). We are able to assist from initial needs assessments and writing reports for use in the application for funding to the implementation of Assistive Technology including ongoing work and training of existing and new support workers.
